Bluetooth speaker deals ahead of Prime Day - US

JBL Charge 5

JBL Charge 5: was $179.95 now $129 at Walmart
This is a powerful and portable Bluetooth speaker based on a winning formula of balanced sound, high volume and long battery life. In our JBL Charge 5 review, we gave the speaker four and a half stars out of five – it sounds great, it's tough and now it's $50 off. Talk about excellent value!

EarFun UBOOM L

Earfun UBoom L: was $79.99 now $59.99 at Amazon
In our Earfun UBoom L review, we found the Bluetooth speaker to be a bundle of fun. It's IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating makes it an excellent choice for a beach trip or pool party this summer, and with a 25% price cut, there's no better time to buy.

Soundcore Motion 100: $59.99$44.95 at Amazon

Soundcore Motion 100: was $59.99 now $44.95 at Amazon
25% off an outdoorsy bass-heavy Bluetooth speaker? Don't mind if we do! The Soundcore Motion 100 was released towards the back-end of 2023 so it's still pretty new, and with its IPX7 waterproof rating and durable design, it's the ideal outdoor companion. The speaker also delivers hi-res audio with Sony's higher-bitrate LDAC codec support, so at under $45 this is quite the steal.

Marshall Emberton

Marshall Emberton: was $169.99 now $124.39 at Amazon
Many portable Bluetooth speakers can look like flashy chew toys for your pets, but Marshall’s Emberton looks like a guitar amp. If that’s not enough to grab your attention, then maybe this price tag will – this was under $100 over 2023's Prime Day, but is still a decent discount now. It isn't just about looks either, as we mentioned in our Marshall Emberton review, it has great battery life and a smooth sound, which is why this is a road-worthy Bluetooth speaker deal.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 (2nd gen)

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 (2nd Gen): was $279 now $189.99 at Amazon
We're big fans of this Danish high-end audio company. In our Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 (2nd Gen) review, we rated the Beosound A1 as the best-sounding Bluetooth speaker you can buy right now so the fact that it's already on sale for 28% off makes for a great bargain. It has only ever been discounted to as low as $175 before, so this isn't a bad price drop.

Bluetooth speaker deals ahead of Prime Day - UK

JBL Flip 6

JBL Flip 6: was £129.99 now £96.99 at Amazon
If you've read our JBL Flip 6 review, you'll already know that we're big fans of this portable speaker. In fact, we rate it as the best mid-range option out there – and with it discounted even further, its value has just got even better. We have recently seen this for £85.99, so the deals may get better on Prime Day proper, but this is still a good price if you want to buy sooner.

JBL GO 3

JBL Go 3: was £39.99 now £30.60 at Amazon
As one of the most ultra-compact speakers on the market, the Go 3 is a great option for anyone who's not looking to spend loads of money. It also comes in a selection of fun, bright colours and while we haven't tested this pocket-sized speaker out ourselves, we were big fans of its predecessor – check out our JBL Go 2 review to see why. The only thing is that we have seen it drop to £25 before, so, in terms of a deal, it's not the crème de la crème.

UE Hyperboom:£409.99£319.99 at Amazon

UE Hyperboom: was £409.99 now £319.99 at Amazon
This isn't the biggest saving on this top-sounding speaker – we've seen it reach as low as £299 in August 2022 – but discounts don't come often for this speaker so it's a great time to get an early bargain. We named it the most powerful-sounding speaker out there and gave it a close-to-perfect rating in our Ultimate Ears Hyperboom review. If you're after a hardy speaker with a strong battery life, this is a top choice.

Bose SoundLink Flex

Bose SoundLink Flex: was £149.95 now £109 at Amazon
Great battery life, easy portability, big sound and easy-to-use controls all make this speaker a great choice. We gave it four stars out of five in our Bose SoundLink Flex review and still think that it's a top alternative to some of the best Bluetooth speakers out there. We've seen it drop as low as £99.95 in the past, but this is still a pretty tasty deal.

Soundcore Motion Boom Plus

Soundcore Motion Boom Plus: was £169.99 now £119.99 at Amazon
Soundcore has built a reputation for creating speakers that boast booming bass and bags of power. The Motion Boom Plus is very much capable of providing this itself, and you can pick it up now for almost 30% less than its list price. We recently tested its sibling in our Soundcore Boom 2 review, which impressed us with its bold sound and low price. You can bet that the Motion Boom Plus can offer the same key qualities.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?

Amazon has confirmed in a press release that this year's Prime Day will take place on July 16 – 17. The event will kick off at midnight on Tuesday and run until 23:59 on Wednesday. While the retailer held the sale earlier in July in years past, this year's date has been pushed back a week to later in the month.

Early offers are available right now, and I'll update this page with more Amazon Prime Day Bluetooth speaker deals as soon as they are available.

Do you need Amazon Prime to get these deals?

Indeed you do. Although Amazon's biggest rivals (Best Buy, Walmart, etc) slash prices on their products to remain competitive, Amazon Prime Day is, well, an Amazon event that's exclusive to Amazon Prime members. You need to subscribe to the service in order to shop all of the best Prime Day Bluetooth speaker deals at Amazon.

However, non-members can grab a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial right now, which gives you full access to the best Prime Day offers for free. This is only available if you haven't been a member before, though. And remember to cancel your 30-day trial once Prime Day ends so Amazon doesn't automatically charge you for your subscription.

For everyone else, you need to activate or renew your subscription in order to take part. It currently costs $14.99 / £8.99 per month, or you can pick up a one-year membership for $139 / £95.

Amazon Prime: 30-day free trial

Amazon Prime: 30-day free trial
If you've never signed up before you can get a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to get access to this year's Prime Day deals. You get the same benefits as paid members, including free delivery, and access to other services such as Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Gaming, and more. You can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid paying the regular fee, which is $14.99 / £8.99 per month.

Soundcore Anker Motion Boom: was $109 now $69 at Amazon
This is a lot of speaker for not a lot of money. This chunky portable speaker is designed to offer big noise power anywhere – a party at the beach, rich music on your deck, whatever you need. With IPX7 waterproofing and a 24-hour battery life, it can deal with being in outdoors well. We haven't tested this speakers, but based on our experience Anker's other audio products, it'll be a a great buy. This is the  cheapest it's ever been – it had dropped as low as $84.99 previously.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 (2nd Gen): was $279 now $199 at Amazon
We're big fans of this Danish high-end audio company. In our Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 (2nd Gen) review, we rated the Beosound A1 as the best sounding Bluetooth speaker you can buy right now so the fact that it's already on sale for 28% off makes for a great bargain. It has only ever been discounted to as low as $175 before, so this isn't a bad price drop.

Image

Anker Soundcore 2: was $39.99 now $27.99 at Amazon
In our intense review of the Anker Soundcore 2, we praised its 24-hour battery, its ton of features for the price (including water resistance) and its rugged casework. While the sound quality leaves something to to be desired, it’s hard to think of a better speaker for under $50 – and right now, it's well under that figure. This price is actually $2 cheaper than its ever been on Amazon too; in February 2022 it dipped to $29.99, but this 30% discount is a new lowest-seen price.

Great battery life, easy portability, big sound and easy-to-use controls, all make this speaker a great choice. We gave it 4 stars out of 5 in our Bose SoundLink Flex review and still think that it's a top alternative to some of the best Bluetooth speakers out there. We saw it selling for £118 last year, but this is the cheapest we've seen it drop to.

Image

Tribit StormBox Micro: was £52.99 now £49.49 at Amazon
The original coaster-sized Bluetooth speaker from Tribit has seen a small discount ahead of Prime Day and given how much we adore its successor, we think any savings make it even better value. In our Tribit StormBox Micro 2 review, we gave it 5 stars out of 5 and named it the best budget option you can buy so you can rest assured that this delivers great sound quality for its compact size.

Image

JBL GO 3: was £39.99 now £29.99 at Amazon
As one of the most ultra-compact speakers on the market, the GO3 is a great option for anyone who's not looking to spend loads of money. It also comes in a selection of fun, bright colours and while we haven't tested this pocket-sized speaker out ourselves, we were big fans of its predecessor – check out our JBL GO2 review to see why.
